about 1 year ago – Tue, Feb 25, 2025 at 10:51:15 AM

Hi everyone,

it's been a while, but we are back!

Our latest campaign is a little recap on the past 3 years, giving you the chance to get a good deal on some of our past releases.

Check out the campaign!

Starting next month we'll launch some exciting new stuff and plan on keeping it that way on an almost monthly schedule.

Thank you for sticking around.

Files delivered, shipping physical rewards started
almost 4 years ago – Fri, May 06, 2022 at 02:40:37 AM

Hi everyone,

it's the day most of you have been waiting for. As a Backer of the digital half of the campaign, you have just received a message including the Dropbox Transfer to redeem your files.

We also plan on shipping all physical rewards this month as scheduled, some of them even are already on their way! We will probably not be sending out another update on that regard, you will receive your tracking code from BackerKit as soon as your parcel is on it's way.

We want to thank you all for your support on this and in some cases also some other projects of ours. Especially the returning Backers mean a lot to us. But even if this has been your very first Kickstarter, feel free to leave some feedback and hopefully you'll be part of one of our upcoming campaigns!

As always, if there's any further questions, don't be shy to be in touch with us, we're always happy to help.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario

Fulfillment of .STL as well as physical Dice Towers
almost 4 years ago – Tue, Apr 05, 2022 at 09:35:00 AM

Hi everyone,

it's April and while it's going to be a few more days until your files will be available for download, we always like to put out a short update to let Backers know what's going on, when we're launching a new campaign while the last one is not fulfilled, yet.

At the moment all files are pretty much prepared, only some parts of the split serpent still need a little more tinkering to make them fit the way we would like to see it. In the end, printing a split model of this size and complexity will always require some putty for seams, but we want to make sure that everything fits as good as possible before that.

The work on the physical Dice Towers is also almost finished, some of them are even boxed up and will be heading to the post office next week, the rest will follow fairly soon.

So as of now, everything is going well and we expect to be sticking to our delivery schedule for the physical as well as the digital side of this campaign.

Now, if you're following us on Kickstarter, you probably already got notified, that we have launched our first Character Miniature campaign. After Dice Towers and Wargaming Terrain, this is something we've been working on for quite a while. This time around, we decided to split the campaign into digital and physical, to avoid any confusion. If that's something you're interested in, feel free to check out either of the campaign pages.

DIGITAL

PHYSICAL

We'll be in touch again fairly soon, when all the files are in order and you're about to receive your download-link.

Best regards,

Pledge Manager going live!
about 4 years ago – Fri, Feb 11, 2022 at 09:04:39 AM

Hi everyone,

it's been three weeks since the campaign has ended and we have just launched the Pledge Manager. Please read the following update carefully to avoid any issues in delivering your rewards.

Before moving on to everything regarding the Pledge Manager, the key information for all Backers of the DIGITAL version of the Dice Tower: If you are not interested in any AddOns or physical Items, you can ignore the Pledge Manager completely. You will receive the Download-Link for your Rewards here on Kickstarter as soon as it is available.

For everyone having pledged for a physical reward, the BackerKit Survey is your way to choose the paint job of your Midgard Serpent as well as covering any upgrade and shipping cost.

Please be aware, that not all Survey invitations are sent at once, it can take up to 24 hours until you receive your E-Mail from BackerKit. If you haven't received anything after those 24 hours, please check your Spam and make sure to check the inbox of your E-Mail-Adress actually linked to your Kickstarter Account. When everything fails, please be in contact with us, so we can fix the issue.

The survey will close after 3 weeks on March 7th. You will get a reminder E-Mail from BackerKit 48 hours ahead of time. If you miss out on that deadline it's not the end of the world, but you may receive your rewards later than Backers who finished their survey in time.

As soon as your survey is locked, remaining funds for AddOns and/or shipping will be charged as well.

Your shipping address can still be changed, after the survey is locked! So if you plan on moving anytime soon, there's no need to worry. Your address will be locked only about a week before we start shipping, and if there's any uncertainty, there's always the option to be in touch with us directly to make sure you receive your rewards.

The survey itself is pretty straight forward. You'll be asked for your preferred colour option (as well as game language in case you pledged for VALHAL as well) before heading into the AddOn section, where you can collect additional rewards like games and figurines or just skip to filling in your shipping as well as payment information.

If there's any issue you find with the survey, please be in touch with us so we can take a look at it. If there's any other questions or concerns, feel free to leave a comment under this update. We'll answer as quickly and in detail as possible.

Our next update will likely be posted when the survey is closed.

Until then, stay safe and healthy.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario

Campaign end and how things go from here
about 4 years ago – Thu, Jan 20, 2022 at 01:25:40 PM

Hi everyone,

it's been an exciting week and our Midgard Serpent project has come to a successful end. We want to thank you all for your contribution in pledging close to €2000 to bring the project to life.

So how are things going from here?

First we are entering the usual 2 week period in which Kickstarter collects all pledges before providing us with the final count.

After that we will set up the Pledge Manager on BackerKit, which will be taking a couple more days, so you can expect the Pledge Manager to go live in mid February for you to finalize your pledges.

The Pledge Manager will remain open for a short period of 2-3 weeks only, making sure we can move on to manufacturing the Dice Towers as soon as possible.

Until April we plan to have the .STL files ready for you to download and start printing your own Midgard Serpents.

The physical Dice Towers actually should not take all that much longer to manufacture than that, so we expect them to be ready for shipping in May.

We'll be in touch again when it's time to launch the Pledge Manager. Until then, if there's any questions or concerns, feel free to post a comment here or on the project page. We'll make sure to answer as quick and in detail as we can and other Backers who may have a similar question get the chance to read along. For more private matters you can also reach us via E-Mail or Private Message here on Kickstarter.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario
